As Monster Energy Supercross enters its fourth decade of racing in some of most recognized stadiums in the world, CBS Sports will take a look back at some of the sport's greatest races this Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011 at 1:00 EST.
CBS Sports will give fans an inside look at those legendary races will commentary from those who engaged in these epic battles, including Ricky Carmichael, Jeremy McGrath, Jeff Stanton, Mike LaRocco and Jeff Emig just to name a few.
AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, is the premier stadium-based motocross racing series in the world, produced inside the world's most elite sports stadiums. Supercross tracks are man-made inside the stadium, where dirt is brought in and sculpted using construction equipment.
Widely regarded as the king of extreme sports, AMA Supercross is considered the NASCAR of motocross. Some of the world's greatest athletes compete in what has been described as the most physically demanding sport in existence.
